Our ICD-10-PCS Comprehensive course provides complete training on the structure and use of the ICD-10-PCS classification system and how to apply it accurately for over 500 procedures performed in the inpatient setting. We will use practical applications. This course goes well with the CM course. If you are considering hospital coding this would be a step in the right direction or a way to test the waters.
Our CPC Boot Camp is fast paced, detailed and aimed to provide the coding concepts and principles used to promote correct coding. The objectives of this course are to prepare students for the National AAPC, Certified Professional Coder (CPC) exam. Preparation for the exam is not the only benefit from this course. Students will also increase their coding knowledge and find ways to prep their book to be important tools.
The CCS-P is a coding credential to demonstrate expertise in physician-based settings such as physician offices, group practices, multi-specialty clinics, or specialty centers. This coder reviews patients' records and assigns numeric/alphanumeric codes for each diagnosis and procedure. To perform this task, the individual must possess in-depth knowledge of the CPT coding system and familiarity with the ICD-10-CM and HCPCS coding systems. The CCS-P is also an expert in health information documentation, data integrity, and quality.

This course will prepare you to become a Certified Professional Coder (CPC). This will be an 80 credit hour course. We will briefly review Medical Terminology and Anatomy. Classes will be held once a week for approximately 3 hours for a total of 16-weeks. This is a hybrid course meaning we will meet virtually every week and every student will also have online assignments and quizzes to complete. This will heighten your learning process and give you an opportunity to work independently. Each chapter contains practice questions to prepare the student for the National CPC exam. We will have a mid-term and final exam to prepare you for the CPC exam. At the conclusion we offer a “mock” CPC exam to give you an idea of what to expect at the “live” exam. Hard work and determination is essential to pass the CPC exam. I can be the live proctor or you may test online for the exam. You also get a second chance to pass the CPC exam at no additional cost if done live.
